I knew as soon as I saw the briefs available, that an illustrative based one was what I would go for. I am keen to publish books of my own in the future, so this was a fantastic opportunity to develop and learn.
In order to achieve my final outcome, I went through a variety of processes and visual exploration, primarily being inspired by the looming 30's school full secrets, mystery, suspense and drama. In order to represent my process of development, I split it into sub-categories below:
